

Bobby Palermo, a Brooklyn, NY native, has been entertaining worldwide audiences for over fifty years. Bobby began his incredible career as a youngster being influenced by his Dad. Singing harmony at age five, Bobby found his niche. His father inspired Bobby to sing. As Bobby got older, he played the accordion & guitar together with Dad around the kitchen table. Bobby later took up the keyboards and started writing music. At age 11, Bobby’s Mom encouraged him to learn to play the accordion. The guitar became his new venture when he was 14.
An accomplished musician, by the age of 15, Bobby started his own band. “Bobby and the Curfews” that soon became well known in the local area and were in hot demand at sock hops, block parties and school dances.
Bobby was forced to put his career ‘on hold’ when he enlisted in the USAF and fought for our country in Vietnam.Returning home, Bobby practiced on the keyboards and became a polished performer. When ready to take his “One Man” act on the road, he contacted agents and toured from Maine to California. Eventually, Bobby landed in Toronto and made Canada his home for 9 years. Once again, the road would become home for Bobby. Returning home again to Clearwater Florida, Bobby was billed as “Florida’s Neil Diamond.”
Bobby performed his ‘First Concert’, June 30th 1990, to a “Sold Out” 2,500 seat audience at Ruth Eckerd Hall – Clearwater, FL.
In 1991, Bobby was asked to join the world renowned Las Vegas Show “Legends in Concert” at the Imperial Palace. Bobby toured the world with “Legends” for seven years.Bobby returned home to Palm Harbor, FL and opened his 300 seat restaurant named “Palermo’s”.
While still impersonating Neil Diamond in his ‘one man’ cabaret show, Bobby continued to pursue his real love, entertaining people and being Bobby. He was awarded “Entertainer of the Year” two years in a row, by Tampa Bay Magazine.

Bobby has also performed in 23 Countries and over 223 cruises on the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines…the Sovereign of the Sea, the Empress and the Majesty. And also Disney Cruise Lines, the Oceanic and the Atlantic.
His show consists of a tribute to “Neil Diamond”, and his own entertainment which includes impressions of many other artists such as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Perry Como, Willie Nelson & Julio, Tom Jones, Stevie Wonder. He thrives on audience participation. He performs lots of comedy and laughter which is Bobby’s greatest gift he gives to his audience. He is truly an exciting and polished entertainer with tremendous energy.
Bobby has won three awards in “Billboard Magazine” for his original music and was awarded by “Tampa Bay Magazine”; Entertainer of the Year two years in a row. He has won the “Hero of the Week” award from Bay News Channel 9 television for his new song; “You are Heroes Thru and Thru” to honor our Military, our Police, our Firemen and our First Responders.

Bobby plays eight instruments and has composed many award winning songs, including top 10 honors in four different categories in “Billboard Magazine” international songwriter competition for Pop, Country, Contemporary, Christian and Gospel. His song “We’re Praying For You” was heard around the country during the Gulf War. Bobby performed this song for 100,000 people including General Norman Schwarzkopf on his return home from the Persian Gulf War.
